I live with my fiancé and our cat, Sparkle. I like cars and I like books. My favourite place in the world is the Amalfi Coast.

I know what to do with words. I know how to shape a story. I know how to frame a narrative. I know what works, and what doesn’t, and why.

My debut novel, The Beautiful Anatomy of Despair, was published this year on 31 March. I am currently working on my second.

I read English at Oxford (First Class Honours), where I edited Cherwell, and Law at Edinburgh (Distinction). In a past life, I was a corporate litigator in the City.
